I'm from the Dub-C of Iowa, or actually HIGHVIEW! I graduated in 2000 from Webster City High School home of da LYNX. I was involved in National Honor Society, National Council on Youth Leadership, Who's Who Among High School Students, Student Council, Young Environmentalists, Basketball, Band, 4-H, FFA, Iowa Associated Saddle Clubs, and the Iowa Quarter Horse Youth Association. This is the fam. My dad Dennis aka Bosco, my younger bro Sam who is now about 6'5, yours truly, and my mom Jane getting suckered into this shot before visiting the Dominican Republic. This is my cat Friend who is livin large in life at 15 pounds. Below is my horse Beulah aka Zippo In Review after we had won the 1999 Novice Youth Western Pleasure Circuit Championship at the seven day Run in Des Moines, Iowa. I spend my whole springs and summers every weekend showing on the Iowa Quarter Horse and IASC circuits. I've been showing for about 15 years now, ever since I was five, I love it more than anything! My old horse Spud aka Sonny's Dandy Royal. He gave me a lot of good years and got me started showing at AQHA shows. This is another part of the summer that I heart, the Fairs!
This was the Hamilton County Fair of 1999 where I won Reserve Grand Champion Overall, Champion Barrow, Reserve Champion Gilt, and Champion Sr. Showman. That was a great year, but in 2000 I kicked everyone's ass with Overall Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog and Reserve Grand Champion Commerical Gilt at the Iowa State Fair and Overall Grand Champion at our county fair!! Something I've been working at ever since I was nine. Couldn't have done it without all these guys!
